  • Technologies and cure

Examples: precision medicine, translational research, stem cells, robotics and surgical advances, pharmacogenomics, “Big data” and data mining, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, imaging and diagnosis, gene therapy, orphan drugs, among others.

 

 

  • Technologies and care

Examples: telemedicine in the care on children with complex health disorders, digital resources for self-care, assistive technologies.

 

  • Soft technologies in the care perspective

Examples: the transition from care to adolescence and adulthood, family-centered care, patient and family experience, palliative care, humanization, care matrixing, intersectoriality, patient safety, Singular Therapeutic Project (PTS), patient access and itinerancy in the health network, etc.

 

  • Health Policies in the care on children with complex health disorders

Examples: care coordination, responsible organizations: what to expect, social determinants of health: violence, low income, access to health care and technologies, decision-making: information systems and epidemiological data, incorporation of new technologies: costs and better scientific evidence.

 

Submission guidelines

  • The abstract must be composed of one (01) author and a maximum of six (06) co-authors;

Note: the author of the work must be registered in the congress to submit the work.

  • Each participant may submit up to two abstracts as first author. There is no limit to participation as a co-author in abstracts submitted by other participants;
  • The abstract must be written in English with a limit of 350 to 500 words;
  • Title: must contain a maximum of 20 words;
  • The abstract must have the following contents: Title, Introduction, Objective, Method, Results, Conclusion and Descriptors

3-6 descriptors extracted from Mesh (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/);

  • In the case of research involving human beings, the approval by the research ethics committee and the CAAE number, in the case of Brazilian studies, must be included during submission.

 

Abstracts evaluations 

  • The evaluation of abstracts will be carried out without the prior identification of the authors (blind review);
  • Abstracts that do not comply with the established rules will be disqualified;
  • Each abstract will be sent to two (02) independent reviewers, whom will assign a grade according to the criteria described in the abstract evaluation tool;
  • Each reviewer, after analysis, must indicate an “accepted” or “not accepted” opinion;
  • For abstracts without consensus opinion among reviewers, a third one will be invited to judge the case.

 

Certificates and publication in the Annals

  • Only one certificate per approved work will be available online (in the restricted area of the author responsible for the abstract), which will contain the names of all authors and co-authors.
  • Paper presentation certificates in the different modalities will be made available online (in the presenter's restricted area), on the congress website, from the 15th day after the event. To access the restricted area, the presenter must use his login and password.
  • The annals will be available on the congress website within 90 days after the event.
  • The annals will be available for consultation on an unrestricted basis. Only papers presented during the congress will be part of the publication.

Instructions for making the poster/presentation slide:


• The language used must be native to the participant;

• You must use the Helvetica Neue font;

• The font size must adapt to the amount of text in the stored files, noting the need to maintain a single size for the entire work;

• If the participant is linked to an institution, he/she must enter the name and logo in the correct fields;

• The formatting required for references is the ABNT standard.

 

Presentation of Abstracts

Approved abstracts will be presented by the first author (responsible for registering the abstract). The presentation of the electronic poster can be carried out in person or virtually depending on the participant's registration method, within a maximum time of 5 min. The abstracts approved in the oral communication modality will occur in the same forms of presentation in the time of 10 minutes for each abstract.

The video file of the virtual participants must be previously sent to the organizing committee of the event in MP4 format through the participant's area in the registered abstract tab until 04/16/2023.

Tips for recording videos:

  • The video must be recorded in the native language of the participant;
  • Preferably use a webcam or camera with HD or FullHD quality;
  • If the video is recorded with the cell phone, record the video with the device horizontally;
  • Use headphones and external microphone or Headset (phone with microphone) – In the case of a notebook, do not use the computer microphone, as it does not have adequate quality for recording;
  • Be in a well-lit place, without noise (external noise), with a preferably white background.
